December is a very busy time, but not so busy that the Kena Klowns can't
find time to come out and support our cause. The weekend of December 14-15
saw 11 Klowns come out and support the "Kena Breakfast with Santa"
celebration. The Klowns were a hit and each one of them took time out to
sit on Santa's lap and make sure their Holiday wishes had been made clear.
Upon his return to the North Pole, our roving reporter, Justin Elf, asked
him! what he had thought about our Par ty. "They sure do have fun down
there in Fairfax" said Santa, "But some of those Klowns are heavy!"
The following is Santa's List of the popular toys requested by the
Klowns this year:
Number 5: New tires for little bicycles, motor bikes and tiny Model Ts.
Number 4: Red, White and Black make-up.
Number 3: New Clothing-Particularly clothing that incorporates Red, Blue,
Green, Purple, Yellow, etc on the same garment.
Number 2: Round, Straight, Star and Flower Shaped latex contraptions called
balloons or something like that. Those Klowns sure are funky.
And the Number 1 most requested thing this Holiday Season: Size 33 1/2 Shoes.
The Kena Klowns also had two separate functions on the 15th where 7 Klowns
came out to visit the Philadelphia Hospital with our Divan, and make some
money for! the Red Sneaker fund. The Kena Klowns meet each month on the
Tuesday following the Temple Meeting (usually the second Tuesday) at 7:30
in the "Klown Imperial Palace" (Hey we can call it whatever we want, right?).
The only pre-requisite is a willingness to make a total fool of yourself in
order to support our philanthropy. Remember: No Man Stands So Tall As
When He Stoops To Help A Crippled or Burned Child.
Check this out! The Kena Klowns have put together a website to try and keep
track of themselves and their activities... Just point your browser to
http://www.kenaklowns.org/ and take a look. There are some photos and even a
the Kalendar, and there is more to come so check it out from time to time.
Hopefully this will be an entertaining and useful site for the Klowns, our
Kena members, and other visitors.
The Klowns hope you had a wonderful Holiday Season and invite the Nobility
to make 2003 a year to remember.
